Launching Summer 2026, the OCL expands with a chapter-based model where each city features its own primary color, unique team identities, and four-team rosters. From Raleigh-Durham to Boston, the league fosters local rivalries, fan engagement, and athlete visibility while giving players the platform to build their personal brand beyond the season.
The Seven Pillars of the OCL
The Outrival Collegiate Hockey League is built on seven key pillars, each designed to elevate the athlete experience and define the development pathway.
Speed
High-tempo, fast-paced games emphasize quick decision-making and sharpen a player’s game-read and conditioning.

Small-area situations and limited time + space give athletes the chance to showcase advanced skills, vision, and creativity.
